Question: What is your Mission Statement?
Answer: I hope to pass along the beauty of nature and spread educational awareness around conservation. If we don’t protect and advocate our natural resources in wildlife now, there will be none left for our future generations. My hope is for my children’s children to hear nature sing.
Question: Why so many bird pictures?
Answer: Living on the South Texas Coast, our town of Rockport was the eye target of Hurricane Harvey in August 2017. Upon returning home, one of the first things I noticed, was that it was eerily quiet. Who knew Silence could be so Loud? There were no birds. Only then did I realize how much I missed the vocalization of my Feathered Friends. Thus, began my love affair with birds.
Question: What do people not know about you?
Answer: My love of nature started at a very young age, with my parents being the greatest guides! Being raised on ranches throughout Texas, my playmates consisted of baby deer we raised, and the multitude of rescued animals I would bring home. Thank you, Mom! I love that, in photography you never stop learning and growing. I am eternally grateful for those that continue to share the knowledge and passion of photography with me.
Thank you for letting me share a piece of my world with you through my lens.
